At Rosedew, we pride ourselves on providing a blank canvas for you to shape your dream wedding. The great limewashed walls can be dressed however you please, with fairy lights, drapes, bunting, flowers - let your imagination run wild! This is why we guarantee at least one day of exclusive access to your party to transform the Barn. The barn will be set up for your ceremony upon your arrival, with the dressed tables concealed behind a curtain and ready to be laid up. To make this even easier, there is a minimum two night stay in the cottages immediately adjacent to the Barn (sleeping 20), so you can rope in your nearest and dearest to decorate! You can later reward them with a BBQ and a beer in the enclosed garden of the Cowshed.
On the morning of the wedding, we know you’ll be busy being pampered - so we can arrange a breakfast grazer to be set up for Team Bride and a delivery of breakfast rolls to Team Groom! Alternatively, the Cafe at Acorn is open from 9am, serving everything from full breakfasts to freshly baked croissants.
The guests arriving for your ceremony can park overnight in our free onsite car park, before joining the remaining guests in the Cwtch in preparation for the Ceremony. After the Ceremony as you relax and enjoy your reception drink and canapés, the barn will transform in time for your Wedding Breakfast. We’ll take down the curtain and place the tables according to the table plan - as if by magic! The Bar is run by Bella Rose Wedding Planners, find out more about their services below.
The food throughout the day will be tailored to you by our very talented team of chefs, which you’ll have met before at your one-to-one taster evening. Our suggested order of service is a choice of three canapés, followed by a seated main and dessert, finished with a street food style evening food. Make sure your guests bring their appetite as there’ll be plenty of food to go around!
After the food has all been served, the barn will transform once again, collapsing the tables in the lower part of the barn to welcome in your evening entertainment and open up a dancefloor. Our bar is licensed until 1AM on Saturdays and until 12PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, so you can dance until you drop! And if you still haven’t had enough, you can continue the party in the accommodation.
We can accommodate up to 80 guests on site, allowing guests to fully enjoy themselves without worrying how they’ll get home! They can even enjoy a full breakfast the following morning at Acorn Campsite’s Cafe - to help with the sore heads!
